Riga Business School
In 2004, Irma Kalnina taught graduate courses. The Riga Business
School (RBS) Alumni Association Board members have extended
an invitation to Irma Kalnina to speak about the meaning of
business etiquette in the Latvian entrepreneurship environment.
The Alumni Association supports various student activities
and promotes school popularity. It organizes events, which
help bring RBS alumni together and facilitates their positive
contributions to Latvian economics.

Since 1998, Irma Kalnina has donated her skills
and time to the U.S. founded nongovernmental organization,
which helps children and mothers in Latvia who have suffered
from violence.
- MarieN Studio
In July 2005, Marija Naumova invited Irma
Kalnina to speak to the studio of young girls (age 7-15)
about the basic principles of etiquette. The course
took place at a summer camp near the Engure Lake. Irma
Kalnina received another invitation for September 2005
to train the girls of the "Rondino" group.
(During the summer they performed at the Marija Naumova
concerts at the Dzintars concert hall and in Valmiera).

DZINTRA
Since 1974, Irma Kalnina,
maiden name Ferlina, has been a member of a sorority "Dzintra".
Thus, Irma Kalnina is keeping up the traditions of her mother
(Erika Ferlins, maiden name Bush), and those of her stepmother
(Elena Ferlins, maiden name Bruder).
On May 20, 1924, eight
students of the Latvian State University founded a student
sorority Dzintra. At the basis of the sorority lie the highest
ideals of life - trust, truth, friendship, honesty and love
for motherland. These ideals are stated in the Dzintra motto,
of "Fidei et veritati," and in their colours: orange,
green and light blue.
